This ink drawing was an experiment both in material use and subject matter for me. I based this drawing off of the photo by Rocco Morabito taken in 1967 titled "The Kiss of Life" which captures a man saving his coworker after he was rendered unconscious from contact with an electrical line. I wanted to capture what it feels like to give your own energy to another human being and to be selfless. I hope to do more in this style soon!
